Last year's ICAN barbeque fundraiser
July 4, invermere –
Once again Invermere Home Hardware is generously hosting a BBQ fundraiser to benefit the Invermere Companion Animal Network (ICAN). There will be smokies (with all the trimmings) and pop for sale as well as small items such as homemade dog treats and cat toys. As well, there will be $2.00 raffle tickets sold on some fantastic prizes.
ICAN is manned solely by volunteers and couldn’t do what we do without the support and donations from the community. All proceeds of this event will go towards the continued vet care, supplies, housing and everyday requirements for these pets.
The success rate of ICAN placing pets into new homes and re-uniting lost pets with their families has been tremendous over the past two years, and and we couldn’t do it without you! So come and visit us on July 4th and enjoy some lunch, meet some of the volunteers and help us to continure to help our deserving furry friends.
