The 9th Annual Kinsmen Snow Golf Tournament on Saturday afternoon was “the best one ever!” says event chairman Steve Kuffler.
The weather was perfect and the ice couldn’t have been better for the 23 foursomes who vied for trophies.
The event comes each year at a time when everyone is tired of winter and yearns for the golf season to start up. What better way to get a fore-taste of this favorite sport than to get out on the ice and see if you still have what it takes?
The first-place winners were the Wells team with an awesome score of 47. Second and third-place winners were the Sofa Kings and the Homles teams with 50 points each. All three teams won trophies.
Local businesses donated great prizes for the draw and the Kinsmen Club wishes to thank them for their tremendous generosity.
Steve wants everyone to know that all the money raised will be staying in the community and used where the need is greatest.
