There was lots of excitement at the Lions Hall on Saturday. Santa was there to hear from about 45 pets about what was tops on their Christmas Wish Lists. Large and small, they lined up to have that special one-on-one moment with the big guy in the red suit. [Read more]

Milly
Milly is about a year old and is pretty mellow (except when she’s full of beans!). Milly is a teeny cat who wants a family to charm! Please set up a time to come and meet her, she has the most amazing pastel colouring and is such a gentle, deserving soul!
Milly likes other mild mannered cats and rubs up against the resident dog! Unfortunately due to her small size and slender little build, Milly seems to get picked on by the bigger kitties.

Spiderman
Spiderman is litterbox trained, and has never had an accident in the five weeks he has been in his foster home. He free grazes dry kibble and his water; he’s likely to assume anything on or in a dish or cup is his, as the kittens are fed small meals four times a day but haven’t been in a kitchen or dining room.
He is not shy of people, being friendly with children (ages 7-13, mostly girls, one teen boy) and all adults. He loves petting, and will cuddle nicely with loud purrs in his mellow moments.
He enjoys sleeping on armchairs, beds and baskets of clean laundry if given the opportunity. He hasn’t met very small children, dogs, loud stereos and t.v., adult cats at my home. He is intimidated by the vacuum, but can cope if it doesn’t ‘chase’ him — better if it isn’t using the powerbar. [Read more]
Syrian / golden hamsters
These hamsters range in size from 4-7″ long and weigh 3-7 oz. on average. Their tails are almost bare and their feet have fine fur on the top, but none on the bottom – just bumpy pads. All of these hamsters are missing a toe or two, so they came to us to find them good homes for them!
Syrian hamsters must live individually and they’re the easiest of the species to handle, and perfect for first-time owners! Of course children will need supervision handling them as hamsters are quite delicate!

Tucker is a sucker for attention!
He just loves being touched and talked to. Tucker came in to ICAN in very rough shape, but has since been neutered, treated for ear mites and is gaining much needed weight.
Tucker is great with other cats, but isn’t too fond of dogs.

Squeaker, a gentle soul
This little 3 year old grey tabby is a very gentle soul (she has to be in order to deal with the 12 kittens she came in with!).
She is a quiet talker who loves to play and get copious amounts of love. She has had enough of the whipper snappers and wants a life of her own! She is fine with mild mannered cats but really doesn’t enjoy dogs at all!

Nigel
This little man is quite the talker, especially when dinner’s late! He loves to play and runs circles around the room. He is a wand toy wizard, although he never can quite catch the darn thing!

Atty absolutely loves her stuffed animals

Atty is a 7.5 month old Boston Terrier/Pug cross, aka a BUG! Atty is very high energy and requires a family that is able to provide both physical and mental stimulation for her. She is very smart but also has a wee stubborn side to her. Atty is crate trained, but requires more training as she is a pup, after all!
Atty adores other dogs, but can play a bit rough with the toy breeds. She isn’t too fussed with cats unless it means play time! She likes to fetch the ball and absolutely loves her stuffed animals.
