Martech Electrical of Castlegar will be making a second home in Cranbrook with the new building of a Martech office located in the Cranbrook Industrial Park.
East Kootenay Foundation for Health is preparing for the launch of its 2nd Annual Starlite Campaign for Excellence in Health Care with the addition of seven new stars to the roofline of the regional hospital.
It was during this design period that the star makers realized a challenge that they hadn’t thought through which is the need for additional electrical services across the roof from the breaker box to the stem of each new star. [Read more]

The Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary and the East Kootenay Foundation for Health are pleased to announce that they are once again joining forces with the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign to purchase a glidescope for the regional hospital emergency department.
The Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that raises funds for local charities across Canada. These special smiling double-sized chocolate chip cookies are available for a limited time only September 21-27, 2009. [Read more]

Long Term Auxiliary raises funds for Invermere ER.
The beauty of having an organization with only about a dozen members and an average age of 75+ is that you have experience, dedication and commitment.
Those three amazing attributes were put to task just recently when members of the Edgewater Radium Ladies Auxiliary gathered their talents to host a bake table at the Edgewater Farmers Market in early August with a goal of raising money for the Together for Everyone! Invermere District Hospital Emergency Department.
Items including freshly baked pies, homemade salsa, pickles, cookies and the like tempted the taste buds of the visiting public. When all was said and done this energized group of women are dedicating $453 to this Columbia Valley redevelopment project. [Read more]
